Please call the Forest office at 845-534-4517 to check on available dates for your day trip to the Forest.

Some Consortium member schools and districts have an established procedure to manage teacher requests for day trips to the Black Rock Forest.  Please follow these procedures as they facilitate your planning.  We will send trip confirmation notices after we have reviewed your Visitor Activity Form.

For other members, please follow the steps below.

• Download and complete the Visitor Activity Form if you are planning to use Forest equipment, staff, or the Science Center classrooms or labs.  This form must be completed and returned to us for review.  We will call or e-mail you to clarify information and confirm the request.
• Download a Lodge Day Use Reservation Form if you are planning to use the Lodge.  We will review your request and return a confirmation e-mail to you.
• Download a Science Center Day Use Reservation Form if you are planning to use the Science Center.  We will review your request and return a confirmation e-mail to you.

Cancellation Notification: Please call or e-mail us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your trip.

If you need driving directions, we will e-mail them to you with your confirmation notice.  Please note that the location of our buildings is not the same as our mailing address.
