Day Visits: Science Center and Forest Lodge

Download a Visitor Activity Form if you are planning to use Forest equipment, staff, or Science Center classrooms and labs.

Overnight Visits: Forest Lodge

Find out what steps to follow to reserve and plan for your overnight stay in the Forest Lodge.
Use the online Availability Calendar to explore available rooms and dates for staying at the Forest Lodge. Then, use our secure online reservation service (provided by Availability Online) to Request a Reservation. We will review your request and return a confirmation e-mail to you.

Overnight Visits: Stone House

Find out about the Stone House and download a Stone House Reservation Form.

Insurance: We require that you provide us with a Certificate of Insurance before your visit. Please call the Forest office at 845-534-4517 for specifications.

Cancellation Policy: Please call or e-mail us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your trip. Our Forest Lodge reservation cancellation policy requires a 20% deposit for overnight stays. This deposit is fully refunded if you send us a cancellation notice at least 60 days before your scheduled arrival date.

If you need driving directions, we will e-mail them to you with your confirmation notice. Please note that the location of our buildings is not the same as our mailing address.
