The Main Parking Lot, for use by general public visitors to the Black Rock Forest , and the Main Forest Gate are located on Reservoir Road, one-half mile south of Route 9W.  A kiosk with a large map of the Forest and another featuring a map of the Cornwall area are located adjacent to the lot.  The red-blazed Duggan Trail leads southwest from the parking lot through a section of mature hardwood forest and connects with the Reservoir Trail, leading to the rest of the Forest ’s trail system. The yellow-blazed Stillman Trail leads to the southeast, up over Whitehorse Mountain to the Upper Reservoir and beyond.
