E. G. Stillman Award
Each year, the Black Rock Forest Consortium present its E.G. Stillman Award for environmental leadership and support of Black Rock Forest and the Hudson Highlands region. Named after Forest founder Dr. Ernest G. Stillman, the Award can go to a person or an organzation.
In 2008, the Award was presented to Dr. Gene Likens, founder of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies.
