Educational Resources

The Consortium provides a wealth of educational resources for teachers and students, from teaching and learning spaces to equipment to curricula.

  • Spaces for learning include the Center for Science and Education, with two labs/classrooms for K-12 and undergraduate students; the Solar Pavilion, a protected outdoor learning area; the area around the Old Headquarters Building; the Stone House, a 3000-square-foot farmhouse in the center of the Forest; and the Forest itself.
  • Equipment for both classroom and field projects is available.
  • The Forest’s environmental monitoring network.
  • Teachers from Consortium institutions and Forest educators have developed a broad range of curricula for elementary, middle, and high school classes.
  • An orientation to use of the Forest.
