The Old Headquarters Building is a 2500 square-foot structure located just outside the Forest.  It is 1 mile from the nearest supermarket and other stores and facilities, including a hospital, in the Town of Cornwall.  It has 16 beds in four bedrooms, a full kitchen, 1½ baths, and a screen porch.  The area around Old Headquarters includes a lawn suitable for recreation, stream access, an experimental garden and tree nursery, a weather station that is part of the Forest’s environmental monitoring network, a sawmill, and a woodshop.

The cost is $10 per person per night for Consortium members, and $5 for students not supported by institutional funds.
