The Black Rock Forest Consortium is committed to providing electronic connections to the Forest for those who are unable to visit it in person or who wish to learn more about it from their homes, schools, or offices.  You can make a virtual visit to the Forest and view data from the Forest’s environmental monitoring network.

  • By clicking on the boxes on this map of the Forest, you can virtually visit seventeen prominent natural locations and constucted facilities within the Forest.  Each features pictures and descriptions of physical and ecological features.
  • The Institute on Climate and Planets at Columbia Univeristy, part of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) has created a virtual hike through Black Rock Forest.
