
Earth Day 2026: Stewardship in Action at Black Rock Forest
When: Wednesday, April 22, 2026 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Description: Celebrate Earth Day at Black Rock Forest with an afternoon of hands-on activities. Volunteers will remove invasive species and continue restoration efforts with native tree plantings. This event is timed to accommodate students, but all ages are welcome to attend.
What to Bring/Wear: Have a favorite pair of work gloves and/or work boots? Feel free to bring them! BRF will provide tools, equipment, and required PPE to all volunteers. Long pants and close-toed shoes suitable for hiking are required. Bring drinking water and a snack if desired. Insect and tick repellent are recommended. An email will be sent to registered participants prior to the event with parking information and additional arrival details.
This event is FREE.
