Join the Wild Woods Restoration Project and volunteer at Black Rock Forest to pot up seedlings several species of native plants and learn how to care for them at home until they are ready for planting (volunteers may “foster” seedlings at home as part of the project). We will be working outdoors in the shade, and you will learn from experts about native plants and how to grow them. Wild Woods provides the pots, soil and plants. All you need to do is learn and help!

Space is very limited, registration required. To participate in this event, a Black Rock Forest waiver must be submitted.

What to Bring/Wear: If you wear glasses, don’t forget to bring them so you can see the seedlings well. You might want to bring garden gloves to wear, although with tiny seedlings, it’s usually better to use bare hands. Bring your own water to drink. More details about meeting location will be provided on sign-up.
