Join Emilie Wolfe, Chair of the Science Department at The Browning School, on a moderate 2-3 mile hike in Black Rock Forest which incorporates several brief sketching sessions. Learn to keep your own field journal like the naturalists of the past while discovering flora and fauna in the forest. No drawing skills required! If you don’t sketch, you can also keep your journal through photos or written notes.

Bring a sketchbook, drawing tools, and your observation skills. This hike is free to Friends of the Forest (annual supporters); or $10/per person. Space is limited and registration and a signed waiver are required. To become a Friend of the Forest or to make a payment for this hike, please visit our donation page.
