Description: Archaeology is back at Black Rock Forest! Volunteer with Archaeologist Dana Linck and BRF Forest Historian John Brady at the “Bearmore Site” named after the family thought to have lived there. Volunteers will continue digging test pits, cleaning artifacts, and cataloging findings at the site. Event details and arrival instructions will be emailed to all registrants during the week of the event.

What to bring/wear: Bring water, a snack, insect repellent, and a rain jacket. Excavation tools and equipment will be supplied, but you may bring your favorite pair of work gloves and masonry trowel.
